Supa swap :- )

Clothing swaps are a great way to switch up your wardrobe without impact on your wallet or the environment. I hosted one this Saturday and it was sooo much fun! Everyone scored some amazing threads.

Here are some tips for a successful clothing swap:

1. Make sure everyone brings at least 5 pieces. I specified that they have to be washed, cute, and wearable.

2. Invite 10-15 people who have a similar style. I think that's what made this one good...all of the girls who came are really into fashion and love vintage shopping, so there were tonssss of awesome things for everyone.

3. So it wasn't the most organized, but we did separate the tops, dresses, bottoms, belts, and shoes, making it a lot easier to look through things. Hanging the dresses on a clothing rack was also super helpful!

4. Take the leftovers to a charitable organization.

Here are some blurry pictures:

The giant pile of clothing....

This is when things got crazy and Amanda and Ksenia started making really funny outfits...

I think if I were to do it again next time, I'd bring out another rack to minimize the pile on the couch....but digging through piles is half the fun of clothing swaps.
