My friend Adriana modeled some clothing for me yesterday. Seeing as it was really nice out, we went outside and took pictures in the back of my building. In true Montreal fashion, there's a spiral staircase in the back! The spiral staircases were one of the first things I noticed when I visited Montreal for the first time. Such a nice detail!
My landlord has a storage space she calls the "Irish Cottage". The windows are so teeny! I love it.
I borrowed a breadmaker from my boyfriend's mom and today I made my first loaf! Since I've never made bread before, I decided to keep it simple- whole wheat and honey. I couldn't believe how easy it was...and how delicious it came out! I literally put all the ingredients in, pressed a button, and voila!
The next loaf I make will be fancy! Mmmmm parmesan, olives, rosemary....the possibilities are endless! (I love bread!)
My theory is that people are either really into twitter, or not into twitter at all. It's interesting to see how people are using it.
Here's someone who had a cat problem- the neighbors' cats were coming through their cat door and eating their cats' food.
To solve the problem, they put an RFID chip on their cats collar and rigged up this crazy contraption using an old laptop and a bunch of electronics parts. Now the door only allows their Gus and Penny inside, not the neighbors' cats. Each time their cat passes through the door, it snaps a picture and puts it up on Twitter. CRAZY! Who thinks of this stuff?
